When we think of a magic school, a scarred protagonist, a black cloak, and battles with magic wands, the first thing that comes to mind is "Harry Potter," but this year's TV anime "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" also has the same elements and has gained a lot of popularity. Bandai has announced the release of two popular characters from "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" in the form of S.H.Figuarts action figures: Matthew Vandead (Mash Burnedead) and Lance Crowne, which are faithful to the anime characters and come with multiple facial expressions. Fans of "Mashle" should not miss the opportunity to pre-order these action figures!

Muscles and Magic:Mash Burnedead
In the shonen manga "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" (マッシュル -MASHLE-), the protagonist Mash Burnedead does not wear Harry Potter's iconic round glasses. As a young boy, Mash was taken into hiding in the mountains by his stepfather to avoid being captured by the authorities for not possessing magical abilities, due to the lack of a scar on his face. However, as he grew up, Mash trained his body to become incredibly muscular and learned to use his physical strength to fight against magic. Eventually, he was able to enter the prestigious Easton Magic Academy and develop exceptional magical abilities, despite not possessing any innate magical powers at birth.

The Bandai S.H.Figuarts "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" Matthew Vandead action figure perfectly captures the character's natural airheadedness, subdued exterior, and passionate heart. With his iconic mushroom haircut and a touch of Korean-style handsome looks, he is undeniably cool. Standing approximately 15cm tall, the figure's cloak is made of PVC and features movable joints that allow for dynamic poses such as spinning kicks. In addition, the figure comes with additional accessories such as dumbbells and a magic wand, as well as interchangeable facial expressions including blank stares, disdainful glares, lowered heads, murmurs, and bewildered looks, all of which are designed to capture the unique personality of Matthew Vandead from "Mashle: Magic and Muscles." The figure is set to be released in October 2023.

Magical Prodigy: Lance Crown
In "Mashle: Magic and Muscles," another magical prodigy character is Lance Crowne, who is the top wizard at the Adley Magic Academy in Easton Magic Academy. He is a kind and handsome young man who has a strong attraction to younger girls, making him a bit of a comedic character in the anime. Despite his intelligence and magical abilities, Lance is often overshadowed by the physical strength and fighting skills of Mash Burnedead, the protagonist of the series. Nonetheless, he serves as a rival and occasional ally to Mash throughout the story.
The S.H.Figuarts Lance Crown action figure stands approximately 15.5cm tall, with his blue hair being his most notable feature. The two scar lines on his face represent his deep and unfathomable magic abilities, making him an extremely stylish and cool character. The figure comes with accessories such as the comical "Mandrake" plant used in magic, which features a very funny begging pose. Additionally, the figure includes a necklace and a magic wand that can be held in his hand, as well as a potion bottle that perfectly captures the image of a magical prodigy like Lance Crown.
The Bandai S.H.Figuarts "Mashle: Magic and Muscles" Matthew Vandead and Lance Crowne action figures are set to be released in October 2023 (Matthew) and November 2023 (Lance) respectively.
